Rome was founded, according to the history, on April 21st, 753 B.C. following the murder of Remus by his brother, Romulus. It was ruled for 244 years by seven kings. The political and cultural expansion of ancient Rome, the conquests, and the boundaries of the great empire lead it to become caput orbis terrarum or caput mundi (capital of the world).

Main stop-offs of the tour: Colosseum (inside visit), Circus Maximus, Aventine Hill, view of the Roman Forum from the Capitoline Hill, Pantheon (inside visit), St. Ignatius Church and the Basilica of St. Maria sopra Minerva.

A walk through the center of Rome, accompanied by a guide who will help you discover the facts and secrets of Rome, from its ancient origins to its baroque magnificence.

Main stop-offs of the Tour: Borghese Gallery and the garden, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini, the church of St. Augustine and St. Luis of France, and the paintings of Caravaggio.

Discovering Vatican City (3 hour guided tour)

The heart of Vatican City is St. Peter’s Square, with the homonymous basilica and its dome, which was so dear to the Romans as it is to visitors who come from around the world.
